She was born Sunday, May 30, 1943, in Sherwood, Tennessee, the daughter of James and Florence (Clark) Garner. Louise previously worked for Liberty Village and Willow Bend Nursing Homes.
Survivors include her children, Joanie Nichols of New Castle, Indiana, Tammy Pendergrass of Alabama, and Tim (Darleen) Simmons of Muncie, Indiana; siblings, Roy “Pete” (Margaret) Garner of Muncie, Indiana and Judy (Jeff) Trego of Markleville; eleven grandkids; and several great-grandkids and great-great grandkids.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; children, George “Hootie” Simmons, Charles “Wonnie” Simmons, and Connie Miller; two brothers, Jim Garner and Jerry Garner; grandson, Shawn Simmons; and her fur-baby, Peaches.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.
Services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 12 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
