Alexander Ivan Ray Ward

Alexander Ivan Ray “Big Al” Ward, age 24, passed away in the morning of Saturday, December 28, 2024. Alex is survived by his dad, Matthew Ward and his wife Kristy Ward; mother, Amy Goffos Ward; siblings, Ethan Elijah Ward, Hattie Mae Ward, Christian Oliver Lee and Paradyse Rose Lee; grandparents, Alex’s Nana, Eleanor Virginia Ward, Scotty Ward and his wife Rosario, James Goffos, Valerie Canter and Diane Giles; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends he has touched along the way.

For those who wish to honor Alex, you are invited to attend a celebration of life on Thursday, January 2, 2024, from Four O’clock until Eight O’clock at Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.

He was a 2018 graduate of Blackman High School. Alex was larger than life. His personality was such, that people were drawn to him. His heart was so full of love for his fellow man and he wanted to make sure that there was no one that would feel left out or in need of anything. Alex has opened his home to so many people that needed somewhere to stay. If you were out with Alex and he was riding high and you needed money, food or shelter, he would take care of you first and then himself last. He was selfless and brought light to all those whom he crossed paths with.
