Alva Mae Bebout

Alva Mae Bebout, age 74, of Walling, Tennesseepassed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Alva was born June 9, 1947 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late RJ and Georgia Lamb Bush. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Lesa McFarlane.

Alva is survived by her children, Missy (Bobby) Mullins of Smyrna, Tennessee, Cenda (Bill) Scott of Walling, Tennessee and Gary (Jennifer) Bebout of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dalton Mullins, Justise Cunningham, Brody Mullins, Kristina Kelso, James Scott and Emma Bebout; great-grandchildren, Landon, Kaiden, Oakley and two twins en route; siblings, Pennie (David) Lawrence, South Carolina, Robbie Greene of Georgia and Kay (Tim) Gardner of Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews and friends and a child of heart, Dale Rooney.

Alva grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, graduating from Central High School in 1965. She retired from the Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation of Murfreesboro in 2008. Alva was a long standing member of the Walter Hill Baptist Church.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from four until seven in the evening on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Roselawn Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Phillips Hall of Roselawn Funeral Home with a Gathering of Family and Friends one hour prior.

Pastor Shelby Smith and Pastor Nathan Hale to Officiate. Interment to be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Walter Hill Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Diabetes Association.

Pallbearers, Dalton Mullins, Justise Cunningham, Brody Mullins, James Scott, Dale Rooney and Joey Farmer.
