Our hearts are broken to lose our precious grandson! Tony was so talented and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a very handsome man with a loving and kind heart. We just didn’t have enough time with him. We have some letters from him that we will treasure always. Our comfort is not only in some very good memories but in knowing he loved Jesus very much and is now in our dear Lord’s presence. Rest In Peace Tony. We will one day be reunited with you our precious grandson.

“The song is ended, but the melody lingers on.”

To Gage & Keira, may your father’s melody always lift your spirits and add color to your days.

My heart was saddened to learn of Anthony Cool 's (Tony) passing today. My son Ethan Ward called to tell me the news after Tony's son Gage Cool reached out to him several hours ago. Tony and I met when we were 8 years old and grew up only two streets apart in the old neighborhood. We've run together and battled each other over the years. We had our ups and downs just like any friendship but, I always considered him a friend.

Our boys have known each other since they were 5 or 6. Not only are they friends but they have been football teammates and brothers ever since they've met. They are both in high school and play football at Blackman. It's crazy to think or son's have grown up together as we did.

Tony at his core was a good guy, a father, a son, a brother, my friend and q friend to so many. We both enjoyed watching our son's put in work on the football field. They've won championships together and they've lost together. They both are two of the best at their craft.

He and I have talked so much football and about our boys over the years. I can tell you this, the man loved his children, his family, and friends. Tony you will be missed and never forgotten. May you be free of all your struggles and get the rest you so badly needed my friend.

My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to each and every one of the Cool family members. May God be with each of you and grant you strength, comfort, and healing in time. Amen.

This one is for your Tony!!
