Barbara Jean (BJ) Duke of Smyrna, TN passed away on Monday September 15, 2025, at the age of 82. Barbara was born on May 10, 1943, in Nashville, TN. Barbara graduated from Glencliff High School in 1961.
Barbara is preceded in death by her Dad, Major Duke, Mother, Ellen Alline Cannon, Brothers, Ronnie Duke, Tommy (Bubba) Sloan, Sister, Joyce Taylor, Daughter, Kerri La’Nae, Langford, Grandson, Thomas (Tom) Ezell.
Barbara is survived by Sisters, Patsy Wilson, Judy Aguirre, Grandson Matthew Page, Great Grandchildren, Tae Ezell, Ethan Ezell, Drake Page and Kerri Page.
Barbara was a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Bambi and Friend, she loved to dance and help people around her. She could make anyone laugh.
The family would like to thank Alive Hospice for the care and compassion that they showed Barbara in her final days.
There will be a Graveside Service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on September 24, 2025 starting at 12:00 pm.
