Beverly F. Talley

Beverly F. Talley, age 81, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away late evening on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mrs. Talley was the daughter of the late James and Ruby Starr. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 54 years, Charles Talley and by her son, Jeffery Scott Talley. Mrs. Talley is survived by her daughter, Wendy Talley Moore and her husband Jeff; grandchildren, Kristen Woolbright and husband Michael, J.R. Williams, Brianna Talley, Cammie Moore and Molly Moore. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Earl Lewis.

In her early years she was the column writer for Talley Talk and sold Avon beauty products. Beverly was a selfless soul who enjoyed showering others with hand written cards and gift bags full of goodies. She loved her grandkids and cats dearly and became spunky in her elder years keeping her sense of humor. She was a devout Christian lady and often expressed her longing to be with her husband once again.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Talley will be at 3:30pm on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Roselawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 2:30pm until the service begins at 3:30pm also at Roselawn Funeral Home, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.
