Charles Raymond Painter, age 78, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday morning, September 28, 2025, at his home. Mr. Painter was the son of the late James Herman and Vera Hedgepath Painter. He is survived by his wife, Lois Painter; daughter, Kristy Borden and her husband Dave; son, Kevin Painter; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Chuck Painter; daughter, Brittany Bullard; and siblings, Carlene Williams and Thurman Painter.
A memorial service for Mr. Painter will be at 11:30am Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Jefferson Pike Church of Christ in Lavergne, Tennessee.
He dedicated over 30 years of his career to Aladdin before retiring. A man of strong faith, he served as a deacon and song leader for many years at Burnette’s Chapel Church of Christ. In later years, he became a devoted member of Jefferson Pike Church of Christ, where he continued to worship faithfully.
