Corinne Gezelle Farmer

Corinne Gezelle Farmer, age 84, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed the afternoon of Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Smyrna Care Center. Ms. Farmer was the daughter of the late Marjorie Parkes Cunningham and Kenneth Farmer. Her grandparents that raised her like their daughter also preceded her, Joseph and Corinne Cunningham Parkes and her favorite uncle, Walter Parkes. She is survived by her sons, Marshall “Marty” Farmer, Joe “Mikey” Farmer and Carl “Mickey” Farmer; daughter, Cindy Poole and her husband Michael; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Allen Harris and Richard Davis.

Service to celebrate Ms. Farmer will be at Twelve O’clock noon on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Roselawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will also be on Thursday from Nine O’clock in the morning till the service begins at Twelve noon. Pallbearers will be Marshall Brandon Farmer, Austyn Lee Farmer, Brent Farmer, Ben Johnson, Ethan Poole, Tim Farmer and Lucas Dalton.

Ms. Farmer attended Tennessee Tech and MTSU and was a former employee of St. Thomas Hospital ER in Nashville, Better Bilt of Smyrna, Mid Cumberland Rehabilitation on Sewart Air Base in Smyrna and she retired from the State of Tennessee.
