

Dawson Wayne Ethridge was raised in Crieve Hall and Crievewood United Methodist Church Nashville Tennessee, he attended school at Crieve Hall Elementary, then on to McMurray Junior High and graduated from John Overton High School on June 7, 1973. He went on to join the Army, 101st Airborne Rangers.
Dawson Wayne Ethridge was a unique soul, loving, always smiling, generous, heart of gold, very kind to strangers.
His favorite hobbies were anything outdoors, loved horses and enjoyed the freedom of riding horses, tent camping, definitely trout fishing, hiking and taking long drives to the Caney Fork River.
He was a Grill Master of Backstrap Ribs.
Dawson Wayne is survived by the Love of his life, wife Candice VanFleet Ethridge, Murfreesboro TN. and Candice's daughter, Tiffany M. Allen of Springfield, TN and Candice's son, Chad A. Eaton of Murfreesboro, TN, his father, Mr. Wayne Gray Ethridge, Nashville TN., his sister, Connie Ethridge Christophel her husband Rick Christophel, Eatonton Georgia, Connie’s daughters Chrissy Holden, Carrie Arnold and Sara Broom, Georgia and Alabama, cousin, David Ethridge and his wife Sherry, Bell Buckle TN., sister-in-law; Denise Ethridge and her sons, Justin and Josh Ethridge, Nashville TN.

Dawson Wayne Ethridge will be cremated as he wished and a celebration of life service will be held at Crievewood United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN, but has not been decided yet and will be updated in the future.
