Deborah Juanita Karns, age 62, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She retired from Nissan as a Legal Secretary. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents William Henry and Pauline Allen Davis Bain; siblings, Alvin Jackson Bain and Mary Frances Bain. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Karns; daughters, Jodie (James) Newton and Jamie Ross both of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sisters, Barbara Davenport of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Betty Williams of Florida; brothers, Johnny Bain of Bradyville and Donny Bain of Melbourne, Florida; stepson, Joshua (Jessy) Karns of Joelton; 3 grandchildren, Malakai, Theo, and Vega; along with much loving extended family and close friends. Her Celebration of Life visitation will be at Smyrna Church of Christ on May 21st, 2022 from 10:30-11:30 with a memorial service to follow at 11:30.
Donations may be given in her memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
