Ed was one of the best friends I ever made in my life so far. From 1973-1993 (approx.) he made me laugh countless times. My thoughts and prayers are with Gabby, his daughter whom I never met as we had lost touch, his mother Inge, and brother Mark. Rest In Peace Ed.

Ed was a true friend in our early days at the Omni Hut. What a crazy guy he was to all of, but just lots of fun to be around. I loved his smile and the nick name he gave me. I wished we could have stayed in touch with each other since those days. My prayers are with his wife, daughter, mother and Mark. I know he is going to be greatly missed by all.

Dear Gabby and Meagan, I am so, so
sorry for your loss. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.
I had the blessing of knowing Ed for
52 years as a loving, supportive friend.
I have so many memories of him in 6th grade Art class, ROTC, Omni Hut, Big Ed and Inga, the VW and fireworks, and many more....we should meet some day.
Over the last 20 or so years it was only a occasional phone call but we both knew we could be there to support each other
If the need arose.
I know he loved your singing Gabby, and your sense of humor Meagan. You two
were his world, and I can’t begin to imagine how much you will miss him.
I know he touched many lives and he will be missed.
I send my sincere condolences to you both🙏🏻😔
