I met Ernestine about 10 years ago when I started attending Kedron UMC. She was always a delight to be around. She always had interesting comments and conversation at our weekly Bible study at Lytle Hodge's house. I always enjoyed hearing her talk about her life. I was with her and pastor Barry Culbertson when she told her life story at a StoryCorps recording session at the Nashville NPT office. I am looking forward to seeing her ~"again"~.

My deepest condolences are with this family. Most sincerest thoughts and prayers are with you as well. Although I only knew Ernestine for a short time, I will surely never forget her. Her wit, feistiness, and contagious smile made my day. Lots of memories of her were made in this time that I’ll carry with me forever. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of caring for her. She left an imprint on my heart❤️

Debbie and family. Fond memories of Ernestine and our visits with her talking 'family' in the previous decade. It was always fun visiting her and fun when she came to Only, TN to visit us and enjoy lunch together. I remember (I think I have this right!) that she used to fix steak and shrimp for someone on New Year's Eve and we would talk and always ask, "Well, did you fix steak and shrimp last New Year's?" and she would say, "Yep, sure did!" She was a hoot and will be missed. As we live in Gulf Shores now we will miss the 'fun' of folks sharing about Ernestine as her life was FULL! Blessings and love to you, Tom & Carole Covington

Ernestine was connected to us in two ways... through the Stone/ Price family and through the Clark family. Mary Jane Price Sullivan is my cousin and Wayne was my cousin. My parents were T. B. (Pete) and Effie Clark Price. I always thought Ernestine was beautiful and always a lady. She was fun to be around and always friendly and smiling. I am sorry that we are out of town or I would certainly be there for the services. My love and condolences to the family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
