Frederick Joseph Pope, 52 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born in Germany to John Howard Pope and the late Charlotte Ann Pope. He was an avid drummer and fisherman. He enjoyed playing pool and listening to heavy metal. He was also a fan of the Tennessee Titans.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jimmy Holmes.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, John (Diane) Pope; brother, John “Phillip” Pope; sisters, Mary Catherine "Cathy" Pope and Deborah Ann "Debby" (John) King; children, Charles Joseph “CJ” (Laura) Pope, Kaida Marie Pope and Adlin Morgan Pope; grandchild, Cayden Joseph McNeese; niece, Samantha Ann (Jacob) Carter; nephew, Christopher Lee Pope; great-niece, Aria Ann Carter; best friend, Sky Wood and many other family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM as well as on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Roselawn Funeral Home located at 5350 NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, 37129. Fred’s Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00PM on Tuesday following visitation with Tony Hinton officiating. Fred will be laid to rest immediately following the service in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
