James Edward Steel, age 82, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday morning, January 5, 2023. He was born in Maryville, Tennessee to the late William McAdoo and Lillie Webb Steel. He is survived by his wife, Helen Jean Steel; son and daughter in law, Keith and Teresa Steel, grandson and granddaughter in law, Austin and Kaitlin Steel and granddaughter and grandson in law, Kayleigh and Michael Terrell and their daughter, Adalynn; sister, Brenda Baldwin. Graveside services with Military Honors will be at 10:30am on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to join the family for this service are encouraged to meet in the parking lot of Roselawn Funeral Home by 10:15am for a procession to the graveside.
Mr. Steel proudly served his country, retiring with more 20 years of service, in the United States Air Force.
