Jeffrey Michael Bobo, of Murfreesboro, TN, 57, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2026, while on vacation with his beloved wife. Though his passing came far too soon, the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Jeff was born on March 1, 1969, in Madison, Ohio, to Ken and Ruth Bobo. From an early age, he developed the quick wit, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty that would define his life.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years, carrying with him the values of dedication, honor, and service throughout his life. Following his military service, Jeffrey built a successful career as a Driver Manager, a profession he devoted himself to for more than 18 years. He earned the respect of his coworkers and the drivers he supported through his hard work, dependability, and genuine care for others.
Above all else, Jeff’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his adoring wife, Magen Hendrix Bobo, whose love and partnership were the foundation of his happiest years. He also leaves behind his cherished daughter, Journie Bobo, who was the light of his life and someone he loved beyond measure. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Denise Bobo-Fetz and Stacy Bobo, along with many extended family members, friends, and countless lives he touched throughout the years.
Jeff will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, infectious smile, and an unforgettable sense of humor. He never missed an opportunity to tell a dad joke—whether it made everyone laugh or groan—and he found joy in making others smile. His laughter was contagious, his kindness was genuine, and his ability to brighten even the most ordinary moments was a gift to everyone around him.
Those fortunate enough to know Jeff knew a man who loved deeply, worked hard, and lived with generosity, compassion, and humor. His presence brought comfort, his friendship was steadfast, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did.
While his family grieves the tremendous loss of a devoted husband, loving father, treasured brother, and loyal friend, they also celebrate a life that was rich in love, laughter, and service. Jeffrey’s legacy will live on in the stories shared around family tables, in every well-timed dad joke, and in the countless memories that continue to bring smiles through tears.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 18 at 1:00 PM in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
