Jimmy Paul Beller, 78, died July 24, 2026. Born October 11, 1947, in Mansfield, Louisiana, Jimmy built a life marked by steady effort, quiet devotion, and a thoughtful way of being with the people and pursuits he loved.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Martha Lynn Beller; son, Patrick Beller; daughter, Kimberly Bagwell and her husband Nicholas; grandchildren, Ethan Gerald, Clark Blanton, Lukas Bagwell and Sean Bagwell; sister, Loweda Green; and several nieces, nephews and cousin.
A graduate of David Lipscomb High School, Jimmy played basketball and carried a lifelong love of sports—especially basketball, softball, tennis, and racquetball. He went on to earn a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 1970, an achievement that reflected the diligence and determination that shaped his life.
Jimmy also found deep enjoyment in music and audio equipment, appreciating the care and craft behind what he listened to and how it was heard. In the rhythms of everyday life, he valued simple, meaningful time—taking long drives in the country and long walks on the trails at Radnor Lake, moments that spoke to his reflective nature and his appreciation for the world around him.
