

Joe Ed McCrady, 91, died peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at home in Longmont, Colorado. Born and raised in Benton, KY, Joe was a longtime resident of Middle TN before relocating to Colorado in 2015.
Mr McCrady was a decorated veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served in the Navy and the Air Force, where he retired honorably as Master Sergeant.
Mr McCrady was a clocksmith, a Freemason with the Sam Davis Lodge, a graduate of MTSU (B.S., M.Ed.), a swimming instructor, a guitarist, a school counselor, and a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. He was married to his late wife Anita for 50 years.
He is survived by his four grandchildren: Bernard Saujon, Stephanie Saujon, Sayward McCrady Sullivan, and Sawyer McCrady. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Anita Woods McCrady; his children Michael McCrady and Cindy Lee McCrady; his parents; and his siblings.
Visitation with the family is 11am-1pm June 18 at Roselawn Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 1pm and military burial.
