Joel W. Brown

Joel was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Christina Brown and brother, Ralph Brown. He is survived by his wife, Doris Deloach Brown; sons, Garry (Tina) Brown of LaVergne, Steve (Carolyn) Brown of Nashville, Jeff Brown of Joelton and Donnie (Martha) Girton of Brentwood, daughter, Carolyn (Steven) Sellers of Murfreesboro and sister, Dorothy Bentley of Nashville, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Chapel service will be held at Jennings and Ayers funeral home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenda S. Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with grandchildren serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012 and 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. 615-893-2422.
