Con profunda tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jose Luis Chavez, un amado esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo. Jose partió en paz, con su fe firmemente puesta en nuestro Señor Jesucristo, dejando un legado construido sobre el amor, la fortaleza y una vida bien vivida.

Le sobreviven su devota esposa, Linda; sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos, a quienes amó profundamente. Jose fue un hombre de energía inagotable e inteligencia extraordinaria, cuya vida fue un testimonio de perseverancia, humor y generosidad de espíritu.

Tocó muchas vidas, ofreciendo sabiduría, ánimo y alegría a quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo. Sobre todo, fue profundamente amado por todos sus hijos, quienes llevarán su memoria en el corazón por siempre.

La presencia de Jose fue un regalo, y su ausencia será profundamente sentida por su familia y todos quienes lo conocieron.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a una reunión en su honor el jueves 23 de octubre de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Roselawn Funeral Home, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.

El servicio de celebración de su vida se llevará a cabo el viernes 24 de octubre de 2025 a las 2:00 p.m., en el mismo lugar.

Jose Luis Chavez, age 101, of La Vergne, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Jose was born in San Miguel, El Salvador.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jose Luis Chavez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Jose passed away peacefully, with his faith placed firmly in our Lord Jesus Christ, leaving behind a legacy built on love, strength, and a life well-lived.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda; his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply. Jose was a man of boundless energy and remarkable intelligence, whose life was a testament to perseverance, humor, and generosity of spirit.

He touched many lives—offering insight, encouragement, and laughter to those fortunate enough to know him. Above all, he was dearly loved by all his children, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Jose’s presence was a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt by his family and all who knew him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.

A celebration of life service will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the same location.

A committal service will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.
