Larry Wayne Thrasher

Larry Wayne Thrasher, age 69, of Lascassas, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Mr. Thrasher was a native of Shelbyville, TN and was the son of the late B.D. Thrasher and Lorene Adcock Haskins. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Rains; sister, Judy Naugher; nieces, Jennifer Peltier, Beth Ann Naugher, and Kathy Russ; nephew, Robert Naugher, Donny and Kelly Higgins; Nine great nieces and nephews; and extended family, Becky Davenport, Vicky Shapcott, Tara Hill and Trent Rains. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Higgins and Billy Thrasher. Graveside services to celebrate Mr. Thrasher will be Monday morning at Eleven O’clock at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Mr. Thrasher was a US Army veteran, having served as a communication specialist during the Vietnam War, being stationed in Africa and Thailand. He was also a supervisor with Jet Industries. Mr. Thrasher was an active member of the St. Clair Senior Citizens Center and participated in the billiards group there. Active pallbearers will be Jason Davenport, Trent Rains, Steve Currence, Kevin Jorner, Buford DeFord and Jerry Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the St. Clair Senior Citizens Center.
