Linda Sewell Jarrell

Linda Sewell Jarrell, age 75, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. Linda was born on June 30, 1947 to Richard and Lillian Melton Sewell in Murfreesboro, TN. Linda spent most of her career in teaching after she obtained her Master’s degree in Education. She taught 3rd grade for 35 years at Mitchell Neilson Elementary in Murfreesboro. Linda was a Christian woman who loved children and raising them. Her pride and joy was her family and playing with her grandchildren. She loved rocking babies to sleep. Linda was a member of Sharpsville Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Mark (Tammie) Jarrell; son, Steve (Jennifer) Jarrell; Daughter, Sharon (Andrew Todd) Boykin; Brother, Eddie (Annie) Sewell; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members. Linda is preceded in death by her Father, Richard Sewell; Mother, Lillian Melton; Son, Luke Jarrell. Services to celebrate Mrs. Jarrell will be at Twelve O'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Friends are cordially invited to visitation Tuesday March 21, 2023 from Four O'clock in the afternoon to Seven O'clock in the evening at Roselawn Funeral Home as well as an hour before the service on Wednesday beginning at Eleven O'Clock in the morning.
