Mason Bryce Stipe, age 22, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. Mason is survived by his father, Evan Stipe and his partner Ariana Hamm of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Dawn Land of Juneau, AK; sisters, Briana Stipe of Murfreesboro, TN and Cassidy Stipe of Florida and Amberlynn Hotaling of Georgia and Mieshia Acosta of Juneau, AK; brother, Logan Stipe of Florida; grandparents, Mark and Mary Stipe of Murfreesboro, TN; girlfriend, Madison Miller and their unborn child of Murfreesboro, TN; uncles, David Stipe of Murfreesboro and Mike Land of Juneau, AK; aunts, Char Stipe of Murfreesboro, TN and Sharlyn Dail Cook of Juneau, AK; niece Elaina Stipe-Edenshaw; and numerous cousins. Mason was a very loyal family member and friend, sometimes to a fault. He had an infectious smile and laugh, and a way of looking at you with them and melting your heart when you were upset with him. He would not want his friends and family to grieve his passing but to remember his life, making changes of our own that would make us the best person we could be. Friends are invited to gather at the graveside and please observe proper distancing. We buried you today. This was the hardest thing I’ve had to do. I know you knew that you were loved. I truly wish things turned out differently. You fought your Demons and they finally won. I want you to know that through all the trials and tribulations that we went through I truly enjoyed you being a part of my life. I enjoyed watching you play Soccer, Football and Baseball. I enjoyed taking you to the baseball fields and playing catch and hitting balls to you.I enjoyed taking you to the batting cages at Grand Slam.I enjoyed going on trips with You, your Nanny and Briana. I enjoyed taking you to see the Braves play. Our relation ship the last few years had been strained, but I still enjoyed having you around. These are just some of the memories that I have of you Mason. I will always Love You and cherish the Memories I have of you. I will visit you often.
Mason I’m sorry I failed you.
