Merlin was a dedicated cardiology technician, known for his compassionate care and commitment to his work.
He married Billie Kaye Thomason on December 8, 1973. They were married for 47 years until her passing. Merlin was also preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Katherine Rich.
He is survived by his loving son, Michael Rich (Rachel), and his cherished grandson, Elijah Daniel. He is also survived by his brother Larry Rich (Wilma) of Browerville, MN. Merlin was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, and he will be fondly remembered by great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends who were like family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th at 10:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. A Celebration of Life will follow at 10:30 AM, with a graveside service immediately after.
