Miss him in many ways, but his music is one of the special times.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing.  We worked together at the VA in Murfreesboro in the late 70's.  He was such a wonderful man - always putting his family first, trying to do the right thing always, and always happy and smiling.  I called him "Stubbs" because he used to bite his fingernails to the quick way back then - he thought it was because he was short!  He called me "Woman" - just to get my goat!  Mike will always be in my heart and truly missed!

My sincere condolences to Mandy, Ryan and the rest of Mike's family. The last time I saw Mike was at Mandy's wedding, at which we had a delightful walk down "memory lane" as we talked about  the times we spent together at family functions when he lived in the Tidewater area. I'll always remember what a pleasure it was to have him around. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dear Adams Family - you have my very sincere condolences for Mike's passing.  We worked together on the Tennessee Fisher House project, and his calm, smiling face and absolute attention to detail made working together a joy.  I will miss him terribly, but he left his mark on all who knew him.  We are better for it.

I knew Mike from the VA. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He always had that smile. Praying for the family in this time of sorrow.

I have no words to express my sorrow at this shocking news except to say though we didn't see one another nearly often enough I will always treasure our friendship from childhood to this day. He was one of a kind. He always liked to sing "I'm easy". Well I know u r truly now "easy" in heavens presence, mike.

So sorry of the passing of this fine man. I know how the family must feel with losing him and the special bond he shared with them. I've known the family for probably 30 years and worked on the VA campus where I would visit Mr. Adams just to see how his day was going. He will be missed by all.

I worked with Mike for many years at the VA. There is no one that cared more for the veterans that he served. He is in heaven with his dear Evelyn. The world has lost a very kind and compassionate person. I'll miss you Mike.

I have known this very special man and his sweet Angel wife Evelyn for many years, and they always always made my day brighter. Mike is with his sweet Angel Evelyn now, and I know he is playing his guitar for the good Lord in Heaven, My thought and prayers are with his family,I will always see your smile Mike, you will always be remembered.

I have worked at the Murfreesboro VA for 40 years.  It was my pleasure to work in Engineering with Mike for several years and continued working with him after leaving Engineering.  I also worked with Evelyn in Engineering and Fiscal Service.  I still miss Evelyn every day and will do the same with Mike.  Great guy.  Sorry I will be unable to come on Saturday.

Mike was the project manager of the Tennessee Fisher House and this is how I met him. It did not take me long to learn that not only was he excellent at his job but he was a man of integrity. Mike became a genuine friend. His good works will remain and make a difference for the better in many lives.

Mike Adams was such a special friend.  I was President of the Tennessee Fisher House Foundation until July, 2014, and Mike and I had a great deal of communication in that 4 1/2 years.  He helped so much during the construction as a liaison between the VA, the construction company, myself, and the National Fisher House Foundation. He told me it was one of the things in his life of which he was most proud.  We shared that mutual feeling with each other several times, including on Friday evening before he died.. I loved him dearly, and he will be missed. Unfortunately, I will be out of town speaking about Fisher House at a luncheon and likely miss his service.  Since it is for Fisher House, I think Mike would be okay with that.   Our condolences to his family.  Andrea (Andy) Lawrence, and my husband, Keith.

I treasure the time I knew Mike.  I shall remember his impish grin and twinkling eyes.  I shall remember the goodness in his heart as he helped others. Mike, you have made a positive difference in the lives of many. Rest in peace dear friend.
