Michael E. Adams

Michael Edward Adams, age 67, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Wednesday morning, February 25, 2015 at his home. Mr. Adams was a devoted father, son, brother, and grandfather and proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Rose Fults Adams and his wife, Evelyn Marie Adams. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Adams (Richard) Milam of Jeffersonton, VA; son, Ryan Adams of Murfreesboro; step daughters, Suanna (Barclay) Lezon and Jerri (Douglas) Birkofer both of Murfreesboro; father, Richard L. Adams of Murfreesboro; sister Carol Adams of Corona, CA; brother, Lawrence (Susan) Adams of Nashville, TN; grandson, Christian Adams; 5 step grandchildren, Clay and Rachel Lezon, Kate Holmes, and Jake and Douglas Birkofer; and 6 step great grandchildren. After 37 years of government service, Mr. Adams retired in 2014 from the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, where he served as an architectural engineer and project manager. Mr. Adams proudly served as the project manager for the Tennessee Fisher House and a member of the Tennessee Fisher House Board.

Services for Mr. Adams will be at Twelve O’clock noon on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
