Dear Walter, Clyde, Joy, Sue, Connie and all other family members,

I was sad to learn of Patsy's passing and that she had been ill for some
time. I never realized that from her Facebook posts. She always shared
humorous things and great pictures. I want each of you to know that I
have very fond memories of our childhood days in Nashville spending
time with you. As we grow up, family dynamics change and we go our
own way, it is hard to spend time together. But, as family, you hold a
special place in my heart. I am sorry I cannot be with you, but you have
my sympathy and prayers that God will be with you and comfort you
in the days ahead.

Love, Your cousin, Janie McElroy Spring

Became friends with Pat and family while I was in high school. Thanks to her son Mike, who came and introduced himself to me after a high school basketball game. Got to know the family and Pat. She always included me in dinner, bowling, movies or just hanging out. She even included me on a vacation to Florida that I considered my senior trip. Enjoyed playing church league softball, golfing and bowling with Pat. She was a great friend. As life goes, we went different directions. Thanks to Facebook and her daughter, Lisa , I was able to connect with her again. Got to visit her a couple of times in Florida where she lived and enjoyed conversations on the phone these last few years. What a blessing she was to have as a friend. I will always cherish our friendship. Love to all the family.
