Robert Earl Hall, age 90, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away the evening of Saturday, June 4, 2022 at his home. Mr. Hall was the son of the late Robert H. and Beatrice Ervin Hall. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Anna (Marianne) Hall; daughter, Barbara Hall Gannon; brothers, Lemuel and Thomas Hall and sister, Bernice Gatlin. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Hall; son, Claude Hall and his wife Brenda; grandson, Nick Hall; granddaughter, Stefanie Wilson and her husband James; two great grandsons, James and Jackson Wilson; sister, Mildred Murphy; three nephews, Roger, Ricky and Stanley; two nieces, Sue and Sharon; numerous Medley cousins; and longtime friend Ursula McPherson. Services to celebrate Mr. Hall will be at 11:30am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Jim Toole and Ivan Sheffield officiating and Military Honors. Mr. Hall proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Korean War. He was retired from Bell South and previously worked for Western Electric. He was a member of Rock Springs Church and American Legion Post 88. Mr. Hall was known as a gentle and hardworking man who was loved by all.
