Sharon Rose Herrod

Sharon Rose Gardner Herrod, age 57 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on April 26, 2021. She was a medical clerk for the Veteran's Administration Hospital. She was a veteran of the US Navy and was a Baptist. She is predeceased by her father Luther C. Gardner and by her brother Ronald Patrick Gardner. She is survived by her mother Nellie (Allen) Lyon, her daughter Elyse Herrod, by her brothers and sisters, Don (Donna) Gardner, Brenda Ginette, Kay (Don) Geving and Luther (Jackie) Gardner, by her step brothers and step sisters Brenda (Ferrell) Butler, Larry Lyon, Donna Whitsell, Gary (Michelle) Lyon, her nieces and nephew, Brooke, Brandy, Dora and Eric and a host of other family members and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life with military honors on Friday April 30, 2021 at 12:30 pm in the chapel at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

I am so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. Both she and her sister Kay were wonderful people I always remember from Lebanon High and were sweet and kind to everyone. She will be missed.
