Shirley Amaro, age 89, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2025, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was the daughter of the late R. L. Clower and Maude Irene Cummings Clower.
She is survived by her sister, Alice Beal; sons, Rick Amaro and Ronald Amaro and Calvin Spurlin; daughter, Tina Amaro Andrade. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Bridgett Amaro Abdo, Robert Amaro, Keisha Falone, Ronald Lynn Christy Jr, and Amy Parker and her husband, Daniel; great-grandchildren, Shea Leyde, Karma Bright, Malachi Parker, and Farrah Parker; and great-great-grandchildren, Mateo Leyde and Austin Leyde.
She is also survived by her niece, Angel Kennedy, and nephew, Mike Beal, as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Clower
A gathering of family and friends for Shirley will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
