Thomas Gerald "Jerry" Morris

Thomas Gerald (Jerry) Morris ,age 64, was born December 10, 1957 and got his wings on January 20, 2022. Jerry was born in Nashville, TN and lived here most of his life. Survived by his parents Katie Juanita & Buddy Freeman and Harold & Nancy Morris. Other survivors include two sisters, Andrea Kay and Tina David, along with his nieces, Ashley, Rachael, Katie, Jenny, Chyanne and nephew Dillon. In addition, great nieces & nephews, Anthony, Sadie, Henry, Blaze, Charlie, Clay, Sophie, Nora, Luca, Avery and Ansleigh. Jerry proudly graduated from Hendersonville High School class of 1975. Jerry was very friendly and outgoing; he never met a stranger and was kind to others. When he could, he was always willing to help someone in need. Jerry worked for many years as property manager in the multifamily industry and in later years in the hospitality industry. He was a big lover of animals, and he leaves behind his precious kitty, Cutie. Jerry’s favorite past time was keeping up with sports especially the Tennessee Titans. As a young man he was an extremely gifted softball player and played men’s softball for years. His funeral will be, Wednesday January 26, 2022, at Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5350 N.W. Broad St. Murfreesboro, TN. Friends are cordially invited to visitation from 12:30 until 2:30, services to follow at 2:30 with placement to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can go to the Nashville Humane Association, 213 Oceola Ave., Nashville, TN 37209.
