

Wanda Kay Childers, age 71, of Lavergne, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Mrs. Childers was the daughter of the late Samuel Audell and Velma Rochelle Gray. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles E. Childers; son, Jason Audell Childers and his wife Rena; grandchildren, Alexandria Porter, Tiffany Childers and Xavier Duffy; great grandson, Brad Porter; sisters, Jan Gray, Shelby Childers and her husband Buddy and Patsy Cook and her husband Jimmy; and brother, Daniel Gray. Services to celebrate Mrs. Childers will be at Two O’clock the afternoon of Monday, January 4, 2021 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Yelding officiating. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are cordially invited to visitation also Monday beginning at Twelve noon until the service begins at Two O’clock.
Mrs. Childers loved to make ceramics with her sister and she was a member of Creekmont General Baptist Church. Due to size of gathering restrictions seating will be limited and we will “Live Stream” the service on our Facebook page, Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens- Murfreesboro, TN.
