Jerry and Joyce Herndon

December 26, 2018

Jerry’s son, Todd and our son, Mike played summer baseball together. Jerry was always at the games supporting, not only Todd, but the whole team. He loved those kids.
We know he will dearly missed by his family and friends. May you find comfort in the promises of the Lord.

On behalf of the Scott and Medley and Camenisch Families, I am writing to say how saddened we are to have lost a cousin. Many wonderful memories were made in Middlesboro and, later, in Lexington. Rest In Peace, "Ick". We trust that "Bubba", Uncle Hill, Annette, your Mom and Dad, my Mom and others are among the "members" of your welcoming committee on the other side. Sincerely, Ginger

I have lived across the street from Jerry and Traci for 4 years....it was always so special to observe the two of you working on your home projects together...seeing Jerry working aound the yard and his home, always taking such pride in his work....doing it all with perfection. Once he proudly showed me some of the home improvements that he had completed....a man of many talents and skills.

I will miss seeing Jerry, but I know that God is in control and it is in His time that we all will leave this world. Traci, if you ever need anything, please call on me. I pray that God will embrace all of you and give you comfort and peace. RIP, neighbor.
Sincerely,
Peggy Cobb

A person couldn’t have better next-door-neighbors than Jerry and Traci. Jerry and I talked often about many things including projects we were each working on, hunting, fishing, cars, and he tried to explain coal mining to me, or shot the breeze about anything, like 2 friends would. We kept an eye on each others’ houses. When our children were little they played together. I have lost a dear neighbor, friend and brother. I will miss him a lot! Traci we mourn with you and are here for you. With much love!
