He loved to laugh and was known to be an enthusiastic practical joker, at both home and work. He loved playing football for Macon County High School and remained a very loyal sports fan, especially for Vanderbilt football and The Tennessee Titans. He was a very eclectic person with many interests and hobbies including gardening, collecting vinyl records, finding Native American artifacts and civil war relics, and keeping up with his fish tanks.
