While attending high school in New Orleans, Bill was inspired by the construction of the Super Dome and wanted to become an architect. In 1983, he graduated from architecture school and later moved to Nashville, TN with Gayle and Jennifer in 1986 to work for Gresham Smith. This year would have been his 37th anniversary with the company. Throughout his career, he was able to visit England, Germany, Mexico and China as well as many cities across the United States.

Bill enjoyed photographing nature and landscapes, learning to play the guitar, watching the Tennessee Titans and LSU Tigers. He loved his family and especially becoming a Pawpaw. He was looking forward to being reunited with Gayle, may they both rest in peace. While he will be greatly missed, he will never be forgotten.
