Betty was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to George and Anna B. Dunham. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her 5 siblings.
Betty graduated from Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1950. She is survived by her two daughters and their respective spouses,
Debbie (Ridenhour) and Ron Watts, Lee Ann (Ridenhour) and Del Dolph, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Betty and her late husband, John Lewis, were instrumental in establishing New Covenant Fellowship Church in Temecula, California in 1984.
Betty was an intercessor and volunteer there, where she worshipped for 24+ years. Betty loved to study the Word of God. Her many bibles are well worn with her favorite
underlined and highlighted verses, her written notes, and comments throughout. Betty's working career spanned over 40+ years in various administrative
capacities within the banking, healthcare, and insurance industries. Upon her retirement, she became an active volunteer in her community, assisting others
in need of transportation to appointments, running errands, cooking and cleaning, as well as caregiving. Betty also served for several years as Treasurer on the
HOA Board in her 55+ community located in Sun City, California. Betty had an artistic flair and enjoyed decorating as well as oil painting. She also loved walking, music, and dancing.
Betty was a true friend to many, an avid listener, and a loyal confidante. She always had a kind word, an unforgettable smile, and a little wink to share with others.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Yet we are delighted to celebrate with her as she has entered her forever heavenly home in the arms of Jesus, her Lord & Savior.
