Casey’s compassion for others spiritual stability and his concern, included everyone he met. From the students in his youth group to his close knit group of friends. Casey had a heart for youth outreaches including his own u-tube channel with topics including how to get saved, spirit soul and body, taking steps in faith and how to make rejection your next opportunity.
His childhood days were spent with his brother outdoors climbing trees, riding bikes, exploring, and hiking. He was raised in church and at the age of ten, was at the inaugural service of West Coast Life Church. It was there he made the journey from Sunday School, to Junior High Youth Group. While in High School he was trained and excelled in serving in the Children’s Ministry. Casey’s natural leadership and personality bloomed. Second through fifth graders loved his coolness.
Casey graduated Lake Elsinore High School in 2008. A few years later Casey moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he attended RHEMA Bible College. During this time he became and ordained minister under the covering of (titles) Mark & Janet Brazee, where he served on the worship team.
Upon returning to California, Casey became the Youth Pastor at West Coast Life Church and served in this capacity from 2014 to 2017. His passion for the youth and planning youth activities such as all night shut-in’s with pizza worship and games. He continued on the worship team and helped develop systems and templates of media production that are still in use today.
In 2018, he began work at Faith World Church where he served Pastors Jeremy and Lisa Swizek developing their online presence and overseeing media production. He made media production and video editing look easy! Casey simultaneously attended the University of Phoenix where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Science and Cyber Security. This led to his current position at Filanc construction company.
He was a collector of vintage cameras, records and Bibles. The crown jewel of his collection was a Bible from the early 20th Century that he had signed by a number of ministers that were influential in his life, including but not limited to Kenneth Copeland, Jerry Savelle, Kenneth & Lynette Hagen, Pastors Jeremy & Lisa Swizek, and Pastor David Ellis.
He had a natural affinity towards the digital arts and was self taught in photography, videography and media production. From sports to music, he was blessed with the gift of proficiency at whatever he put his hand to. He had just recently taken up mastering the barbecue even though he liked his burgers with cheese and ketchup only. He was also a connoisseur of cookies and loved making different kinds for parties.
He was a huge fan of the Mighty Ducks and the Dodgers “Go blue”. He loved a variety of music from all of the Hillsong United albums, the Black Keys and Colony House.
His favorite movie was Shaun of the Dead because he wanted to save the world from the zombie apocalypse. And while the zombie apocalypse is now off the table, he will get to take part as the armies of Heaven that follow Christ into the last battle as described in Revelation 19:11-14.
