

A native of Olympia, Washington, Frank grew up in San Mateo, California, and graduated from San Mateo High School and Saint Mary’s College. In college, he was the captain of the water polo team, class representative, and a Spanish major. Frank entered the Navy Officer’s Candidate School in Rhode Island and served as Navigator aboard the USS Luce stationed in Mayport, Florida.
Frank had a 50-year career in financial services. He served as President and CEO of City Federal Savings in Oakland, California, Antelope Valley Savings in Lancaster, California, & Inland Savings and Loan in Hemet, California. He became a Certified Financial Planner and was affiliated with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Met Life Financial.
Frank was a tireless ambassador for Rotary International and especially the Rotary Club of Murrieta. At the Murrieta Club, he was the driving force, along with Dennis McCarbery and Bob Bryant, in establishing the Murrieta Field of Honor which has just completed its 17th year. Frank is remembered for his favorite portrayal of Rotarians as “good people, having a good time, doing good work.”
Frank is survived by his wife Carole of 57 years, daughter Allison & husband Kevin, son James & wife Deisell, and a total of 5 grandchildren, Bradley, Harrison, Nicole, Gabriel, and Will.
A living tribute has been arranged for Frank. A tree will be planted to provide shade and comfort to residents and their pets at Ivy Park at Murrieta Assisted Living, 27100 Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta, 92562.
