Mehler "Red" "Hoppy" Thomas Hofstatter

Mehler “Red” Thomas Hofstatter Jr, age 81 of Murrieta, California, passed away on Friday January 5th, 2024, in Murrieta, Ca.

Born Wednesday, August 5th, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of the Late Mehler Thomas Hofstatter Sr and the late Clevia Mandella Graves; and the loving husband of the late Linda Marie Hostatter for 51 beautiful years.

Red was a huge car enthusiast, and spent a lot of time going to car shows with his old cars, he also enjoyed golfing, and listening to anything Elvis or Jimmy Buffet. Family was very important to him as he enjoyed all the holidays, birthdays, and get-togethers he got to spend with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his son Craig Hofstatter and his Wife Christy, Daughter, Yvonne Childers and her Husband David, and Three Grandchildren, Savanna Doyle, Gavin Childers, and Maxwell Hofstatter, He will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A committal service will be held on Monday January 29, 2024 at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, Ca 92518 at 1:30pm
