At the beach enjoying something to eat and the view of the beach.

Trying out a new Mediterranean Restaurant in La Jolla.

Watching the Musical Grease at one of the local wineries.

After a doctor appointment that I was able to go with you to, and you had enough energy to get something to eat and enjoy the beach for a while. 🏖️

Rebecca,
Thank you for sharing the last years of your life with me. My life has been enriched by the time I was able to spend with you and enjoy creating memories!

In Memory of Rebecca

She was strong, and very courageous,
Fought many struggles, throughout her years,
Still, she had a cheerful disposition,
Pushing through a lot of fears.

The unknown was a big concern,
But she did her very best,
Facing the many challenges,
Though they seemed like Mt. Everest.

She was fiercely independent,
Tried to do things on her own,
Reluctant to ask for assistance,
Yet, grateful, for every kindness shown.

She loved to do so much for others,
To brighten up their day,
Chocolate, candies, and small gifts,
And encouraging words to say.

She dreamed one day she’d be healthy,
And prayed so fervently,
God chose to give an answer,
And set her spirit free.

Now she has no heartaches,
No body aches and pains,
She has finally found her answer,
Found her sunshine in the rain.

~ Lela

Dear Jason & Family,
Sending you all our warm and heartfelt condolences. Your mom was a kind, generous person. During her many health battles, she never complained. Instead, she stayed faith filled, determined and always found the time and energy to help others. Even in her most painful days, she would be sure to compliment the medical professionals caring for her. She even had a few bags of candy on hand to show her gratitude for their care. She was other-centered. Your mom also made it a point to engage in meaningful conversation with her care givers because she was truly interested in them and enjoyed hearing their stories. Her faith continued to be strong, she did not waiver on her trust in God. She was a wonderful friend and is greatly missed.
She will be forever in our hearts.
