When you think of Aleine you think of someone who was bright and fun loving, that made people smile every time they saw her. In younger years, Aleine enjoyed babysitting her little brother. Her cousins and friends who would come by and dance to records and go for a movie and malt at the local hangouts. She loved her carefree days as a teenager, growing up in a much simpler time.
As a high school junior, she fell in love and married Alvin Sexton. Alvin and Aleine started their life together in a small apartment in North Houston. He worked in the automotive field and she enjoyed being a homemaker, wife and mother.
Together they raised 3 beautiful children and enjoyed the addition of many grandchildren over the years. Aleine was blessed with an extended family that survives her, too numerous to count each one, but each and everyone loved and cherished. A life full of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows. These times seem to fly by in a blink of an eye, but the truly memorable, rich moments stay with us beyond the span of one life. Aleine will not be forgotten for the wonderful care she always took to tend to her family, her home and the labors of love she gave each and every day of her life. All have partaken in the delicious meals that she created so perfectly and the truly warm heart she shared so freely with everyone she knew. Aleine’s life made a difference to those who had the honor of knowing her.
Aleine is preceded in death by her parents Clintie and Gwyndlon Waggoner; all of her aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alvin Sexton; children, Bryan Sexton and wife Molly, Teri Stephens and husband John Kent, Brent Sexton; grandchildren, Kelsey Stephens, Katie Stephens- Moore and husband Josh, Johnathan Sexton, Bryan Sexton, Jr., Brandon Sexton, Shelby Sexton; brother, Andrew Waggoner and wife, Cheryl; brothers and sister in laws, Janie Glover, Bud and Judy Tinsley, Buddy and Barbara Sexton, Norman and Donna Sexton; numerous beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
