

Alex had a big, vibrant personality that she shared everywhere she went. She would light up any room with her beauty, energy and smile as she welcomed all to the activity, party and friendship. Much of Alex’s life was defined by her Attention Deficit Disorder and the challenges that came with that. She knew the pain of exclusion, setting an example of inclusion for all of us to mirror. Alex loved adventures of all kinds, whether traveling to far off lands or exploring downtown spaces. Her athleticism and creativity were shared through her favorite hobbies, Ultimate Frisbee, painting, photography and music. While at Stephen F. Austin University, she found her home away from home with her ATO family, where love and acceptance abounded. She was drawn to and embraced animals for the same reason. Losing Alex leaves a hole in our hearts as many friends and family will miss her beyond measure.
