Barbara was born to Marcus and Linnie Mae Spearman on July 26, 1936, in Rodessa, Louisiana. Barbara lived a life deeply rooted in faith, grace, and a devotion to God. She was a true prayer warrior and spent a lifetime covering her entire family and friends in daily prayer. Her unwavering faith made her a witness for everyone she met.
Barbara married Dalton on January 14, 1956, and raised her 3 children to love the Lord. She loved travelling in the motorhome with Dalton. She also enjoyed visiting Hawaii and going on cruises. Her favorite game was Chinese Checkers, but oh how she hated to lose!
Barbara was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Mt Enterprise and enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes to both children and adults. Her mission trip with other church members was another highlight in her life. Her profound love for God was matched by her deep love for her family. She was the entire family’s rock.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dalton, her siblings Mary Gibson, Raymond Spearman, Claude Spearman and Henry Spearman, her aunt Mae Bell Robinson and a grandson Slade Howell.
She is survived by children, Wayne Keese (Emily), Beverly Orr (Joe), Darren Keese (Terri Ann). Grandchildren, Dalton Keese, Hilarie James (Stephen), Tyler Keese (Emily), McKenzie Turner (Brendan), Lance Anding (Brianna), Heather Johnston (Luke). Great grandchildren, Cody Keese, Rett James, Henry James, Noah Keese, Austin Keese, Madelyn Keese, Hunter Keese, Everleigh Turner, Lydia Anding, Eden Anding, and Jakson Johnston along with several very special nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, 210 N Railroad Ave, Mount Enterprise, TX on November 7, 2026, 9:00 followed by a Celebration of Life, at 10:00 am.
Final Resting Place will be at Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 CEDAR HILL RD, DUNCANVILLE, TX, on November 7, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
