Betty was born on April 13,1933 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Pat Martinez and Dovie Steele Martinez. She graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1951. Betty worked as an LVN for 30 years at Lufkin Memorial Hospital.
Betty is survived by her nephews, Brian Rich and wife Mishelle, Brent Rich and wife Kim; cousin, Sherry Arriola.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Arnold; sister, Mary Rich.
A visitation for Betty will be held Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, TX, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Following the funeral service, Betty will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas.
