Betty Jo (Davis) Witcher

Mrs. Betty Jo Davis Witcher, age 89, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019. Mrs. Witcher was born October 20, 1930, in Alto, Texas, to parents W.V. (Dock) Davis and Lela Wells Davis.

Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, N.L. Witcher.

Betty is survived by daughter, Pamela Witcher White and husband Thomas of Huntsville, TX; sons, Mike Witcher and wife Eva, Terry Witcher and wife Lynne, both of Nacogdoches, TX; six grandchildren, Karen White and Ron Fielding of Huntsville, TX, Kristin White Hyche and husband Eric of Pace, FL, Shannan Witcher Reardon and husband Michael of Burleson, TX, Josie Witcher Sandlin and husband Casey of Katy, TX, Sara Witcher Smith and husband Paul, and Caleb Witcher and wife Sara of Nacogdoches, TX; ten great-grandchildren, Miranda Fontana, J.T., Sydney and Amy Hyche, Case and Kate Sandlin, Paisley Cosby, Audrey and Jacob Smith and Cassidy Witcher, one great great grandson, Cooper Murray; sisters, Peggy Baker of Nacogdoches , TX; Patsy Fleniken of Nacogdoches; and Carolyn Matlock of Kennesaw, GA.

Betty was devoted to her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and they all loved her dearly. She loved the outdoors and spent many hours camping and gardening. She also was an excellent seamstress and wonderful cook.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, November 22, 2019, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Dr. Allen Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday, November 22, 2019, prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Caleb Witcher, Tommy White, Michael Reardon, Casey Sandlin, Ralph Ervin and Paul Smith.
