Billy Ray Griffin

Billy Ray Griffin, age 81, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Bill was born February 2, 1941 in Daisetta, Texas to parents, Alvin Griffin and Ira Lee Griffin. Bill served his country in the Air Force and retired as a supervisor with Citgo Oil Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking in his workshop. Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include: wife, Aida Griffin; daughter, Carrie Griffin Fraser; daughter, Dana Griffin Riggs; Son, Kobe Griffin; grandchildren, Annie Fraser, Callie Fraser, Garrett Riggs and Lauren Riggs. Preceded in death by: parents; siblings, Claude Elbert Griffin, George Clifford Griffin, Yvonne Griffin, Betty Griffin, Howard Griffin and Glenn Griffin. A visitation for Bill will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965. A rosary will begin at 6:00 PM. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nacogdoches, Texas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
