He is survived by his wife Mary Calvetta Cureton Arnold; grandchildren, Gregory Brian Arnold, Jr. and wife Olivia, Leia Ann Arnold and Zakary Todd Fountain, all of Nacogdoches; great granddaughter, Iris Louise Arnold, age 1; sisters, Judy Griffin of Huntington and Pam Arnold of Nacogdoches.
Mary was the love of his life and they had 53 wonderful years together. They were married November 14th, 1966 in Colorado Springs, Colorado El Paso County by Judge Cole.
Mary and Bobby had 2 children, nieces: Lisa Arnold, Angela Griffin, and Josslyn Arnold; nephews: Billy Arnold, Jr., Tyler William Arnold, Joel Arnold, Nathan Arnold, and Matthew Arnold.
He was preceded in death by parents, Herman William Arnold and Mildred Lois Bowen Arnold; brothers, Billy Herman Arnold and Joseph William Arnold; son, Gregory Brian Arnold, Sr., deceased at age 41, and Shelley Renee Arnold Fountain Tulley, deceased age 37, and niece Tonya Arnold Boatman.
Mr. Arnold was an Accounting Major and attended SFA. He owned several drive-inn restaurants and 1 laundromat. He worked for Trans Continental Gas Pipe Line in Houston, Texas. Then he transferred to Nacogdoches with Woodmen of the World Insurance. He then opened Sports Cards Etc., with his son Greg for 51/2 years. He then worked for the Daily Sentinel distributing papers for 13 ½ years. He served the US Army for 2 years, basic training in Fort Polk, La, Aberdeening Proving Grounds in Baltimore, Maryland after being transferred to Fort Carson, Colorado then Vietnam where he became SP-5. He was a Huey helicopter crew chief and pilot and served with the 1st Air Calvary Battalion and a sniper with the Ranger. He was a veteran exposed to Agent Orange, where his health began to decline and he passed away on October 18, 2019 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
