A longtime resident of the Nacogdoches area, Cassie was born December 19, 1983, in Sacramento, California, to parents Joseph B. Meamber and Roberta R. Cooper Meamber. She was a 2002 graduate of Nacogdoches High School.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph B. Meamber.
Her survivors include four children, Jazmin Mendez, J.J. Mendez, Wesley Gressett, and Skyler Simpson; her mother, Roberta Meamber; brothers, Joe Knight, Michael Meamber, Terry Holmes, and Joey Meamber; a sister, Teresa Meamber; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Cason Monk-Metcalf's Sunset Chapel.
