Charles Tubbe died Sunday, September 23, 2018, in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born in Baytown, Texas, on September 7, 1945, and was a 1964 graduate of Nacogdoches High School. Tubbe served 15 years in the U.S. Army, and was a Vietnam veteran. He retired from Moore Business Forms after 27 years of service. He married the former Bonnie Lindsey on August 14, 1987, and enjoyed the many trips they took, including one to Cancun. Tubbe loved hunting, fishing, and listening to gospel music while traveling. He was an upbeat person who was quick to laugh and to love, and a loyal family man. More importantly, he knew Jesus as Lord.
Tubbe was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Tubbe; and brother, John A. Tubbe. Tubbe is survived by his wife Bonnie; son, Thomas and wife Daniella of Germany; grandchildren, Dennis, Dominic, and Celine; niece, Tammy Brown and husband Tom of Magnolia, Texas; step-children, Darrell Lindsey, Olan “Bubba” Lindsey and wife Malinda, and Dana Lindsey Gaut and husband Todd, all of Nacogdoches. He is also survived by numerous cousins, including Aubrey Stone and wife Phyllis, Carol Spradley, Lonnie Lee Tubbe and wife Dorothy, Tommie Thacker and husband Leonard.

Visitation for Tubbe will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf. Service will be held, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in the Sunset Chapel at Cason Monk-Metcalf with interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Nacogdoches.
