She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Enez Marx.
She is survived by her husband of more than 56 years, James Turner, her daughter Elaine Turner and son John Turner (Christy), granddaughter Rachel Sowell, and grandsons Jacob and Logan Turner. She also is survived by her brothers Dr. Donald Marx (Sandra), Paul Marx (Paula), Cindy Strode (Tom), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charlotte was a loving wife and mother, devoted to her family and her Catholic faith, and had a giving heart. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
A visitation for Charlotte will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965. A rosary will occur at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nacogdoches, Texas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
