A proud graduate of Nacogdoches High School Class of 1977, Cindy treasured the lifelong friendships she built there. She continued to meet monthly with a close group of her high school friends—gatherings she looked forward to and cherished deeply.
Cindy spent her professional life in banking, working at Commercial Bank of Texas and retiring from Citizens 1st Bank in 2020. Over the years, she was honored multiple times as the Daily Sentinel’s Best of Nac Bank Teller.
Cindy loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. She found her greatest joy in being “GiGi” or "Grandma" to her grandchildren. Time with them—Maddie, Waylon, Scarlett, and Henry—was the highlight of her life, and she poured her heart into creating memories they will carry forever.
Ms. German was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Andy German.
She is survived by her son, Justin German, his wife June and their children, Maddie, Scarlett, and Henry of Maryland; son, Lucas German and his son Waylon Washington; and son, Joe German and his wife, Becca of Alaska.
